Aug 10 2012 If you’ve taken a look around Aromandina.com, then you know I credit aromatherapy for giving me my greatest gift — my son.  But getting a fertility boost isn’t the only thing you can get from aromatherapy.  It’s also a great mood booster! If you’re looking for an all-natural way to improve your emotional well-being, read on.  You’ll be amazed at what aromatherapy can do for you! Instead of going through a detailed description of the science behind each essential oil, I’m going to share something much more powerful (and much more interesting!) with you — my own experiences with Aromandina products.

Take, for example, the woman who works at my local Office Max.  I was simply trying to stay refreshed during a run-of-the-mill afternoon errand, so I spritzed some Exulto Body Mist on my face and body. A few minutes later, a kind store employee offered to help me find the recycled paper I was looking for.  After that, she offered to make some copies for me — even though there were plenty of other employees in the copy department that could have helped me. As the copy machine was humming along, I noticed that this employee couldn’t stop smiling at me.  Finally, she asked me what scent I was wearing.  Before I could even open my mouth, this sweet employee threw her arms up in the air, walked around a bit, and told me that my scent reminded her of a walk in the forest! Funny, that’s exactly how I feel when I use Exulto, too! It was amazing to me how quickly this woman’s mood improved.  Even though she hadn’t spritzed herself, just getting a whiff of the essential oils in my Exulto Mist was enough to boost her emotional well-being — even if only for the few minutes she was talking to me! But that’s not the only memorable experience I’ve had with Exulto!

Better work relationships

I was talking to a lady one day about an upcoming missionary trip she was going on.  While she was looking forward to helping people, she wasn’t looking forward to working with her pastor — since he always seemed to disagree with her and belittle her ideas. I could see how anxious she was, so I handed her a bottle of Exulto and told her to spritz it on every time she was going to be near him.  I wasn’t sure if it would give him a change of mood, but I knew it would help her psychological well-being during the trip. After the trip was over, this woman told me that not only was the pastor nice to her, but he even told everyone to listen to her ideas because she knew what she was doing!

In my travels around town, I’ve even seen aromatherapy give marriages a boost! Not long ago, I was at a spa showing a woman different Aromandina products.  Out of the blue, she asked me how to handle a grumpy old man who never smiles… Sure enough, there was her husband, standing right behind her, and he looked anything but happy! Talk about feeling awkward! I grabbed a bottle of Alegria Blend, screwed off the lid, and told the man to sniff it.  “Grumpy” complied, and I asked him what he thought of the scent.  He didn’t say a word — because he was too busy smiling!  His wife was amazed! I wasn’t, though.  I’ve seen what aromatherapy can do for people’s emotional well-being.  I’ve seen it impact their hearts and minds.

What on earth makes these two products such a powerful way to boost people’s moods?

Both are made with a unique blend of three ingredients — Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, and Litsea Cubeba. Clary Sage is an essential oil that’s known for boosting moods and easing tensions.  It’s often given to people suffering from depression and mental breakdowns.  Because it has euphoric qualities, it can create sudden mood changes! Ylang Ylang is the perfect complement to Clary Sage because it has “cooling” properties that work perfectly with Clary Sage’s “heating” properties.  Instead of creating euphoria, Ylang Ylang squashes strong negative emotions — like anger, frustration, and irritability. When you add Litsea Cubeba into the mix — a sharp citrus scent — it creates a refreshing aroma that instantly relieves stress and depression.

So, how can you take full advantage of Exulto Body Mist and Alegria Essential Oil?

When you’re having one of “those” days, have your bottle of Exulto close by.  That way, you can spritz some on your face and body anytime the stress, pressure, and frustration start to get overwhelming.  Don’t be afraid to use this product liberally!  Since it’s all-natural, it won’t create the side effects that prescription mood boosters do. It’s springtime and there are changes happening all around us – the weather is warming up and life is undergoing a process of awakening and renewal.
Although spring is always associated with positivity and freshness, the season does have a considerable impact on our mind, body and emotions.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), spring is represented by the wood element and it is that time of the year when our body is most susceptible to wind-cold imbalances that mostly affect the liver and gall bladder.

Problems like depression, hepatitis and vernal catarrh (allergic conjunctivitis or ‘pink eye’) are believed to stem from these imbalances.

The liver is the primary cleansing and detoxifying organ of the body that regulates blood circulation, hormones, metabolism, digestion and subsequently our emotions too.
In women, it may affect the menstrual cycle and reproductive health. The function of the gall bladder is to secrete bile and assist the liver in all its functions to ensure the smooth flow of energy throughout the body.
Experts believe that the health of the liver and gall bladder can affect our decision-making abilities and have an impact on the quality of life.
TCM also theorizes that anger and depression are the dominant emotions during spring that are fanned by rapid changes in the weather, environment and length of the days. It is said that these changes interfere with the levels of the hormone melatonin in our body resulting in mood swings and temper problems.
You may be suffering from an imbalance if you experience one or more of the following signs and symptoms: Inadequate sleep or disturbed sleep patterns

  • Dry, watery or itchy eyes

  • Irregular bowel movement

  • A feeling of fullness or bloating

  • Chest congestion

  • Menstrual irregularities or severe PMS symptoms

  • Mild to severe depression

  • Anger

  • Frequent emotional outbursts and restlessness

Keeping all causes and their effects in mind, a wellness regimen during the spring season should aim at strengthening immunity, purging the body of toxins and maintaining emotional balance.
